basically, you need to do your creatures gain vigilance before exert them or untap after combat phase .

Thanks for this deck, I actually have my own take on a Boros Exert deck here https://www.mtgvault.com/twozach2/decks/boros-exert/All of your creatures are human; have you thought about using Radiant Destiny? It would give them all +1/+1 and if you have 10+ permanents they all gain vigilance.
