Vamp, Can't be stopped

Main Deck (62 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Just an unexpected FNM winner. So far its got 1st place twice in my local shop.
Against,
USA Delver its 2-1-0
UW miracles 2-0-0
Solar Flare 2-1-0
Turbo Fog 2-1-0
RD Wins 2-0-0

First turn you have a plethora of options, fume spitter or golden urn. You drop those and one every three games my opponents end up scooping.

The brute force of the deck is 5 child of nights, no one sees it coming. I always draw one and double unholy strength it and endless scream fully pumped. Its not even fun after that.

A couple combos that lie within the aggro-control is fume spitter, disentomb, and sadistic glee on one of your children; kill, counter, return, repeat.

I would ask for suggestions but there really isn't anything I can do to make this deck better.
Next stop Pro-tour!

Deck discussion for Vamp, Can't be stopped

I like the build, golden urn is a great card, it gets you fast life-gain whilst protecting your aggro approach.

Bravo, I hope you continue to have such luck

My one piece of advice would be maybe add another fume spitter, more consistency.

I know golden urn is good, hence why it is in my deck. I appreciate that your trying to help when suggesting to add a fume spit, but you see when you have five child of nights in your deck, adding a fifth fume spitter would be overpowering. I am trying to maintain sincerity and fun factor of magic.

very nice. I love this deck. great mana curve, and small, simple, but powerful creatures. although... you kinda have 5 child of night cards for some reason... your enchantments buff your small creatures, and your removal protects you from retaliation early game, and gets rid of blockers late game. very well done indeed.
I don't normally like mono colored decks, but this is a fantastic showing. :)

What does that 5th Child do there, my child?.. :)

Also... ...no offense, but I don't belive this deck could win anywhere... ...couldn't even win a match at a tournament, unless your location is incompetative... ...sorry for sayin'!..

The deck is modern format & yet any standard deck in habit would beat it easily...

No sideboards... ...the main deck is also pretty pointless... ...strange conception...

Sorry for being honest & "badmouthing" your deck!.. You probably feel mad & I understand, but I really said the truth...

I doubt you'd be interested after this speach of mine, but here are my standard B/R Vampires, wich would definiately beat theese up & it's still not tournament quality: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=395655

Glad somebody had the balls to say it. Thanks PoetMaster.
My only Tournament Quality deck isnt even standard....So i hesitate to even give it the moniker. I'ts beaten some pretty serious decks, Mostly copies of Top 8s, but also some dream decks that were proxied just to test against it. Its not amazing, but i think its pretty decent.

I agree with this. It's also fishy that his deck isn't legal in Standard or Modern, yet he won an FNM against UWR Delver, UW Delver, Solar Flare, TurboFog, and RDW- the top Standard decks at the time. He also did this with 5 Child of Night, which is illegal. I hate to say it, but I doubt he actually won an FNM with this deck :/

0

I had some friends think they were hot stuff..They came in to a Legacy tourney i held thinking their UWR Delver and UW Delver copies were the best decks in the world. I very quickly taught them why only playing Standard was a huge mistake. Sure, those decks are great in Standard.....but with the whole of the MTG Arsenal to throw at them....They arent much more than dust in the wind.

It's a fake deck. He's a troll. He didn't win, and people know it and are playing into it. That's why they are congratulating him on his amazing deck-building skills and not pointing out the 5 child of nights. That's how you know it's a big joke to the poster of the deck, of course :)

you do realize that you cant have more than 4 of any card in your deck except for basic land cards unless the card specifically states that you may have more than 4 of it in your deck. for example

Totally missing it.....Its going right under your head Reaver. Your problem is that you can't think this low if your life depended on it. You have this thing called Skill....And that simply will now allow you to understand this kind of stupidity. If you REALLY want to "get it", your going to need a brick. A big, heavy one. Beat it against your forehead 7 times, then re-read the posts. If you still don't understand, you aren't hitting hard enough. Try Again.

Yo...Racky54....Why do you have to come in here with your so called "Rules" and rain on their parade. What kind of heartless freak are you? I suppose you even observe the Legend rule too....Yeah i bet you do. Well you can just go away with your fancy schmancy Rules! I mean, its not like anybody would get disqualified for 5 NonBasic Land cards or anything. The thought of that is just....Horrible. I bet you wouldnt even let them use a 20 card deck either...You make me sick.

;)

You guys all miss the point. Magic is about more than just your force of wills. Its skill. This deck will win because the guy playing get its. Plus he most likely showers, putting him ahead in FNM already.

Heart of the cards, bro.

Vamp on. Let the haters hate.

So after playing with this deck in Forge 15 times, and then against it 15 times, Its won Twice. Total. It beat a Token deck because of Sadistic Glee, and had just enough Removal to eke out a victory over a really slow Mono-G deck. So that puts its Record at 2-28. I had to turn on Dev mode just so i could have 5 Child Of Nights. You can make arguments about skill all you want, But even if i TOTALLY suck at the game, The computer won't. Its AI is programmed to make the absolute best move possible. Even with that advantage, It still sucked.

Honestly, All these people feeding the troll, in less than 24 hours....This has /b/ or 9gag written all over it. Im leaning toward /b/, because they at least know how to troll correctly.

I love how whoever cradle is he either created multiple accounts or got friends to to spam to top deck yet the deck could be beat by any random group of 60 cards almost
the options for beating this deck are endless basically any board wipe he loses heavy removal he loses any decent deck builder can even if this deck was illegal and using legacy cards like dark ritual

0

Turn 1: Swamp, B for Dark Ritual making BBB
Turn 1: B for Entomb, Targeting Iona, Shield Of Emeria
Turn 1: BB for Exhume, Also Targeting Iona.
Turn 1: Iona comes into play, name Black as the color.
Done. Now you can sit back and play anything you want, and this mono deck (or any other mono) can't play anything but Lands.

Also works well with any Eldrazi that doesnt shuffle back into the library. If you want to be REALLY evil, play It That Betrays, So every attack of the 11 beast makes him sacrifice two permanents, which you then add to your side of the board. Its the Ultimate Mono Killer Strategy.

If you go first, Yeah that would certainly work....Once. A Reanimator deck can do the same thing over and over again. But if I go first, its already too late. You couldn't even stop me from doing it again because from then on, every turn i get, you have to sacrifice 2 Perms. Besides, If you know you are going against a Reanimator, There are other things you can do to fix it. If you don't know, then its all over. Nothing is perfect, Nothing :)
