Deck Description

Deck Notes:
This is a classic lock-down discard deck. It focuses on getting the fog banks to prevent damage while exiling any creatures that pose a threat. Anything that can't be exiled in time will fall victim to Gideon's Lawkeeper. Evanescent Intellect mils every turn it is able to (up to 12 cards a turn). Any and all constructive comments are welcome. If you would like to make a suggestion please feel free, but try to include your reasoning behind the change. I have just gotten back into magic after a 6 year break, so I am still adjusting to all the new mechanics. I am also starting from scratch. These cards are what I managed to collect through about 15 boosters and a couple trips to the local card shop.
Personal Note:
I like to keep my decks on the cheap side, although I do not necessarily need to. I have money to put into magic, but like everything else I put my money into, I am very frugal and I try to take the most cost effective route possible. If you want to suggest something expensive, please do so and I will certainly take it into consideration.

How to Play

Fog Banks for defense, Gideon's Lawkeeper for tapping and also for Evanescent Intellect. Windborn Muse and Sphere of Safety to make war too expensive to wage against you. Hold the render silent's for something that may disrupt your plans. Clone, the god, and the sphinx are for damage, although chances of you winning through combat damage alone are pretty slim.

Deck discussion for Lock-Down Discard v1

Consider Grindclock in place of Evanescent Intellect or Millstone and Detention Sphere in place of Oblivion Ring.

Grindclock will make a nice addition, I decided to go with Oblivion RIng over Detention Sphere mostly for monetary reasons, however, either would work. Thanks for the advice.
