Deck Description

So, this deck is supposed to be a budget green and black golgari deck around Varolz and his scavenge ability

Im not running deathrite shamans, gravecrawlers, the best dual lands, thoughtseize, inquisition of kozilek, dark confident, phyrexian dreadnought, etc due to their market price

Trying to build something very acceptable without these kind of cards and this is what came out

Feel free to comment and help with suggestions :)

How to Play

varolz as the deck main engine, thats why im running 4 although he is legendary

Death's shadow to use with varolz, main scavenge engine (end game possibility also as big creature in the battlefield)

Brawn to go to the graveyard

Lotleth as a very good creature, to get big and discard directly to graveyard

Skarrgan as an evasive cheap creature

Skullbriar to salvage counters if he's killed

Spike feeder as big, instantaneous life resource if scavanged on

Jarad for the sacrifice ability after an attack (although its really expensive to play him and use his ability on the same turn)

Green Sun Zenith and Buried alive to get the creatures you need

Unearth if you need a creature back (wont work only in Jarad, but if really necessary he as his own "ressurect" ability)

Witchbane orb as graveyard protection, will work against most graveyard hate spells (not all ofcourse, namely Relic of Progenitus)

Lands are not the best, but an acceptable option instead of the more expensive ones like Overgrown Tomb and Woodland Cemetary

Sideboard

Control spells (abrupt decay, tragic slip and putrefy)

Deadbridge chant: chose not to include in main deck as it will only enter game in turn 6, but might be usefull in long games

Bioshift would only enter in main deck with corpsejack menace as if he is in the battlefield it would double the counters

Slitherheads just to fill if necessary, good sacrifice target and a +1/+1 counter for 0 cost scavenge is not bad
