i would run avacyn's pilgrim over arbor elf. maybe kick up the lands? you're playing with a blitzy mana base rather than a midrange. throw in two cavern of souls, a kessig wolf run or two, maybe slayers' stronghold? id go with 23-24 lands. have you considered blasphemous act? it goes well with boros reckoner and can jump a gap in health pretty easily, especially with two reckoners

I try to avoid Innistrad-block cards (don't ask why :P), that's why there's no Pilgrim. I like to have Chromatic Lantern instead of extra lands as it also ramps, allowing for T1 Abor Elf, T2 Lantern, T3 Thragtusk.
yeah, but then you're wasting a turn to drop a lantern. you have to remember you're going midrange, not aggro(i went through the same "identity crisis" when i went from aggro to midrange. you dont really need to drop a turn three thraggy. you fill the two extra turns with loxodon and reckoner. then you have a much more dangerous board presence than a t3 thrag. midrange is more about presence than speed. you just consistently drop threats.
