Izzet is my personal favorite guild and I've always wanted to make an EDH deck centered around the colors. I focused it around instant and sorceries, making each one hit for either small amounts of damage with guttersnipe, or just spam creature with Talrand, or just end games with the Sphinx-Bone Wand or storm cards. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
Start by setting up activations for when you play instant or sorcieries, like playing talrand, guttersnipe, sphinx-bone wand, or charmbreaker devils. Follow up with playing can trips and setting up your draws with ponder and the like to get a storm count up and also play turnabout or snap to untap lands to keep going. Once you go off, if you have bone wand out you will be able to kill everyone in one turn. High tide helps a lot with casting spells and if you can, twincast or reverberate it whenever possible. When played right, stormcounts can get pretty ridiculous so even a grapeshot can be lethal.
