How to Play

This deck has been retired and disassembled!

Control the game and stop the biggest threats; break the stax player's lock and counter the combo player's wincons. Notion Thief + Wheels will all but force a scoop, Helm + RIP won't give them a choice. Sen herself is a wincon in our command zone, but she is slow and a low priority for us. She can be great to pull out once you have ripped apart your opponents' resources. Crystal Shard is great with Sen out, chosen player cannot tap a land once Sen's ability resolves. Now you can play the creature you just bounced to their hand. Necropotence will guarantee you have card advantage and is even better with max handsize. Combo Necro with Venser's Journal; this deck can murder itself with life loss if you drag the game out. Get out Solitary Confinement if you are drawing too much hate. Humility is also great to stop creature decks in their tracks and Night of Souls Betrayal combos for a nice soft lock. Forbid is decent with Necro out as well. As Foretold is a new favorite; this allows you to play counterspells for free without having to keep your mana open. It also allows you to play your opponents' spells for free with Sen out. Lastly, it really helps us get through the annoying stax player. Telepathy has actually been quite useful in this deck as it gives me more information for using my counterspells, removal, and Sen triggers. It is a do-nothing card that doesn't guarantee any value, but it is a fun card nonetheless.
