Deck Description

NOTE: The Mardu Ascendancy are stand-ins for Retreat to Coralhelm (since it can't be added yet).

A brew of a combo deck for modern including Knight of the Reliquary and Retreat to Coralhelm to get a huge swing in.

So, the combo is to have a Knight of the Reliquary stick on the board with a Retreat to Coralhelm in play. This lets you tap the knight to get a land, which triggers the retreat and lets you untap the Knight, which also grows you Knight. You have some one ofs such as Rogue's Passage and Sejiri Steppe to get through for damage (or dodge a removalspell).

How to Play

It's a mix of a regular bant tempo deck and a combo deck, you just have to feel out the match-ups. But most of the time I believe you want to play a tempogame and try to close out the game, but if needed you can combo off and win with a virtually infinitely large (well, at least something like a 20/20) Knight of the Reliquary swinging in on turn 4.
