Modified version of Jacob Van Lunen's Rareless and Careless from Building on a Budget, a DailyMTG column published every Wednesday. This version is built to optimize land with 4 Scalding Tarn to set up my mana base in the early game, the set of Misty Rainforest and the single Arid Mesa ensure I won't continue to draw Islands and Mountains for the rest of the game. The 4 Preordains, a Ponder, and 2 Probes give me 7 options to dig for {U} or less, the majority of the burn spells get every weenie that doesn't have pro red or shroud. And speaking of Shroud, the flagship card of this deck is immune to spot removal, beats for 2 and is basically an untouchable Jace. Ladies and gentlemen, let Neurok Commando show you what she can do when your opponent cannot keep anything in play whatsoever. . . since the deck has 15 burn spells, 2 bounces, and 6 good counters.
