Deck Description

This is a classic mana ramp/burn deck. It's a lot of fun to play, and is highly effective. With a decent draw, there is no reason why you shouldn't win on turn 4 or 5 tops.

How to Play

Play an Arbor Elf or Llanowar Elf on turn one, and assuming you played a land on turns one and two, get either an Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania out on turn 2. As the game progresses, try to get as many elves out as possible as each one will allow your Priest/Archdruid to tap for X mana, where X is the ammount of elves you control.

If you draw a vitalize, you should be able to do 20+ damage on turn 3. No matter what happens, don't block with your elves; take whatever your opponent throws at you. I chose the Kaervek's Torch as the go-to burn spell as it is one red plus X to to X damage to target player with the additional ability of adding 2 to any interupts/instants that would counter it. It works well agains control decks, but if they are packing a playset of daze, you will need to try a couple times to get it to work. The Rolling Thunder is an option conisdering it has a buyback cost, and the Volcanic Geyser is an X plus red/red spell that plays at instant speed in case you need to catch your opponent off guard.

Nissa is a fun addition to this and neccessary if you need to buy more time. Her +1 ability gives you life in proportion to the ammount of elves you have, and her ultimate ability - get this - allows you to bring out into play as many elves as you want.

This would be considered a legacy deck, but I've only used it to torture my friends. The "side board" is just some stuff you can swap out to keep things interesting. Don't want to do direct damage with a burn spell? How about you cast a turn 5 or 6 Gobblin Offensive and create about 100 1/1 goblin tokens? Low on life? Cast a Stream of Life to give yourself X life.

Playing multiplayer? Throw in a couple Increasing Vengence. Smack one opponent for 20 damage on turn four, then cast it. It will not only allow you to copy the spell, but choose a new target as well. I can't tell you how fun it is to knock out two opponents in one turn.
