Deck Description

System Shutdown

This deck is constructed upon the idea that with enough direct damage and counter spells that you can lock down the opponent without creatures while you are free to use your fast hitting creatures can destroy your opponents life.

Using the lightning bolts and shocks you can kill of any small creatures that go to attack you life,( Only use Chandra's Outrage if the creature is too be to hit with shocks or lightning bolt) You can preventing any damage from spells and disallowing any large creatures from entering the field with your numerous counter spells. You can then use your ball lighting or arc runners to hit your opponents unprotected life, and then unsummon or use an Æther adept to pull them back to your hand before they sacrifice at the end of your turn. Only to cast creatures and attack if you know it will leave you untapped mana; then use this untapped mana to counter any creature destruction or blockers they could try to produce; then when their health is low you can finish them off. Your fireball should be use much later if possible to either wipe out a group of small creatures you let through or to hit your opponent with large damage, you should not have to put up with any large creatures as your counter spells should keep you covered. Only use Jace's ingenuity during the opponents turn if you have mana in their end step, as your mana will be refreshed just after as your turn will start in the next phase.
