The idea is that each creature that gets put out starts weak but can become a threat. You can adapt to play against different decks by choosing to level up different creatures first.
Get as many creatures out as possible, then drop a venerated teacher. Adapt play style to fit the deck you are against. Hada Spy Patrol ends up winning a lot of my games because he can become a 5/5 unblockable with shroud very quickly. Even if you have no hand, you can still put counters on creatures, so you rarely have a dead turn .
