This is a kind of joke deck, but nothing is funnier than staring down measly little rodents...and fearing for your life! The main focus of this deck is to have your opponent discard their hand while you sit back and watch your Runechanter's Pike get huge on your deathtouch creatures. Hard to deny the dream of having a first striking rat with deathtouch. Or even a lifelinking deathtouch vampire, even :P

Rune chanters pike only works on your graveyard so them discarding won't help your pike If your going a discard route you should have lilliana's caress

I'm very well aware, but I'm mainly using it for the first strike along with all your discard sorceries and instants hitting the yard. I would love to use Liliana's Caress, but I'm trying to keep this deck standard. Thanks for the feedback!
Lol heard rats and didn't even think standard If you wanna make it competitive - nihil spell bomb ( it's mainly a sideboard card) + 3 doom blade \ go for the throat \ murder - 3 distress (this puts a feel that's going to empty their entire hand rather then just of certain cards ) + 2 mind rot - 1 land (is ghost quarter really that effective? I dot like it personally)( also I get to 5 mana easily at 22)
Nice to see a non-relentless rats, rat deck! The Kawigama "ninjitsu" rats come in handy w/ typhoid rats. Usually ppl will take the 1 damage than lose a guy to deathtouch. Ravenous rats are good but I think Rotting Rats are better. Even though you also discard with Rotting Rats, but hey, you still end up having the advantage because of your discard spells.
