Remove 2 Mogis's Marauders for 2 Fanatic of Mogis

I agree with that one. Hits your mana curve a little harder, but then again you ARE building the deck around getting him out once your devotion is plentiful.

First, consider Dragonskull Summit over the temples, they will genreally enter untapped and ar multi lands. You can also consider the Scars land Blackckleave Cliffs. If you were able to get Demigods int he graveyyard you don't care about counter magic. So consider Faitless Looting, it says draw cards on and lets you get some sweet 2-3 demigod action going on. COnsider the Hybrid cards only count for 2 devotion for red, or two devotion to black for Mogis. Hybrid only counts are 1 mana symbol for a god like mogis.

Hybrid cost mana (in this case lets use Shred Freak) will add 2 Black AND 2 Red to devotion. This means that with just a Shred Freak and Mogis his Devotion to Red/Black is 6.

I dont know why everybody thinks this. they have said multiple times it doesnt work this way. Hybrid mana symbols count toward both their colors but aren't counted twice.

Thank you for posting that. I had honestly never heard the rulings for the gods themselves I just knew that they counted for the colors.

I love the Deck Minus Land Base. I would much rather see the land base have this look:
Land:24
4 Blood crypt
4 Dragonskull Summit
4 Blackcleave Cliffs
2 Lavaclaw Reaches
4 Swamp
4 Mountain
2 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

With this mana base you will never have to worry about hitting either color even though 90% of the creatures are hybrid mana this ensures you can play any and all spells in your deck with little to no problems. I also feel like bringing you Terminate count to 4 and dropping and/or SB Mogis, I feel as though you already have plenty of 4-5 drops that more removal or control is much more preferred same with Fists of the Demigod

I'm assuming the idea behind the deck is to get your devotion high enough to make mogis a creature, so why would they sb him? That land would bump the price up at least $100. Not really worth it since most of it is hybrid mana. I will agree with at least a couple Dragonskull Summit, though I'd rather use a full set.

The thing is this deck does not need Mogis in the deck at all to win, you run enough creatures and devotion if you dont out aggro your opponent, they die to a fanatic or gray merchant. Idk its your deck dude all I am saying is Mogis is not needed by any means and you are correct all those lands may not be needed either just something you maye have wanted to do
