just because crop rotation is quicker thats the only reason
I don't get how you use Valakut without any mountain... did I miss something ? Even if Valakut itself counts as a mountain (I'm a bit fuzzy about that), there could never be 5 of it in play to trigger the ability.
prismatic omen makes every land enter as a mountain,swamp, plains, island and forest so to get valakut up to 5 in this deck is easy to do
