Deck Description

Werewolfs are control in and of themselves because of their flip abilities forcing opponents to play spells. Throw in some Manabarbs and you've got the makings of a good lockdown. Add Tovolar's Magehunters to double penalize them for daring to cast anything and you've got it made.

This deck is fast, with low casting cost throughout. I only go with cheap werewolves because of the theme. The Scored Villagers are really helpful once I get the Manabarbs out. I have some cheap removal in there, as well. If there's a stalemate on the battlefield late game, generally I will win because the Mayors make tokens, so I will have creature advantage, whereas for the opponent they will need to incur more damage just to get creatures out, or deal with mine.

This deck is lots of fun, and has been successful so far. I've playtested it against several kinds of Standard decks and it wins consistently. The only exception (50-50 split) is against UR mill/removal/control.
