Deck Description

Based on true story: I was making a deck for a friend cause you know he was interested in mtg. I looked at my card Crater Hellion and I thought. "Is there any other Hellion than this one?" I searched online and there was 11 Hellions I could find I thought "this was madness!" because how high the prices were to cast'em. I knew from the start it's gonna be expensive. I thought "adding ramp would be great for this" so after I confirmed that the legendary was Gruul I knew this would be a amazing deck.

How to Play

All I can tell you on turn 1 is to hopefully get a Elvish Mystic or Birds of Paradise and a Abundant Growth. Turn two you pretty much kinda do the same thing maybe put in Feral Animist if confronted with a fearsome opponent. Turn three is usually the biggest decision in the deck, make an army of 4-4 Hellions with haste or, make one gigantic legendary that can KO your opponent almost instantaneously. Turn four is when you think your opponent had a Doom Blade or something so you probably either picked army of Hellions or did none of these and just increase the amount of creatures so that your legendary can feed off of. If you feel threatened at all from some creature with potential to destroy you make sure you summon a Volcano Hellion, it might save you. (Old) Turn 1: Put a mana adding source down (Elvish Mystic, etc) Turn 2: Put another mana adding source down, if you get a Gruul signet or already have one, make sure you don't use it until your opponents turn (unless you can't because of rules I didn't know of ps, I suck with rules) Turn 3: Add a mana adding source down, if you got a Verdant Succesion I would recommend putting it down, Turn 4: put a creature down other than Hellions, use Hellion eruption, put the mana dorks back in again. Turn 5, Maybe use Thromog, your not gonna get those Hellions back, it's depending on the situation your in.

switch feral animist for another mana dork and also battle hymn kinda is an awful card. Same with abundant growth
