jep, 3 mana is allot :p Gift of orzhova would be great on crypt rats ;-) one of my first dream decks i build http://www.mtgvault.com/darko789/decks/from-hell-with-love/ is around that, give crypt rats death touch and life link :p
pariah would force there creature to hit your priest or wall. also darksteel plate would let your creatures take damage while staying alive forever.
trade hexproof mask for darksteel plate, same mana but better effect. u right. pariah to, altough its 3 mana.
