Most of this deck is awesome, but the thing that bothers me is the low cost single target counterspells. It makes your deck oringonal from most commander decks for sure, but you don't often see counterspells like that. I guess they are good as they discourage your oppenets from using spells that will effect you if you have mana open.

Muddle the Mixture & Perplex would be more versatile, as they also let you tutor (which is what I usually use them for). Cards at 4 & 5 CMC w/ transmute would be good in this deck, as well.
Nice! I don't think Crypt Ghast is legal in your deck, though, due to the hybrid W/B mana symbol in it's extort ability.
wizards have said that anything in remider text doesnt count. So extort can be in a mono colour deck. It was in one of the mono black precons!
