Deck Description

The idea of the deck came from the realization that Liege of the Pit and Lord of the Pit deal 7 damage as their downside, rather than making you lose 7 life. That means that Lifelink completely negates the loss of life (unless you already have 7 or less life). It's a beatdown deck that is designed to be for fun casual play.

The sideboard is filled with options that, while more expensive money-wise, kick the deck into high gear. Cabal Coffers is the ultimate in mono-black ramping. Abyssal Persecutor is an outstanding 4th-turn (or sooner) play, and can be later eaten by a Liege/Lord to finish up the game. Griselbrand and Demon of Death's Gate are just more "gigantic black demons used to crush faces" cards.

I personally ignored removal (eg: Murder, Doom Blade, etc.) since I figured if your demons couldn't smash it out of play, nothing will. Obviously if it's necessary, throw it in.

How to Play

Use Blood Speaker to search up your demons and/or act as early chump blockers. Diabolic Tutor searches up whatever you might be lacking at the time.
Bloodgift Demon helps keep your cards flowing, and with lifelink in the deck the life lost will be wholly negligible.
Crypt Ghast and Dark Ritual are outstanding ramps to get your demons out even sooner.
Desecration Demon helps add some early-game aggression to the deck.
Liege and Lord of the Pit are the hallmarks of the deck. Being able to morph Liege into play on turn 4 is the ultimate goal of the deck, especially if you can slap lifelink onto it.
The enchantments give lifelink to your demons and make them even scarier than before, as well as nullifying their downsides.

Play your demons, give 'em lifelink, and tear the enemy to shreds while you laugh your evil demonic laugh.

The sideboard options are more expensive, but can give the deck a great power boost.
Abyssal Persecutor adds very powerful early-game aggression, and can later get eaten to end the game.
Demon of Death's Gate and Griselbrand are there for flavor and just to rub it into your opponent's face that your deck is filled with humungous face-smashing demons.
Cabal Coffers add even more powerful ramping options.
