Deck Description

Varolz is hungry. Varolz wants tasty high-power creatures to snack on. Dump gigantic monsters into the graveyard, then turn them into tasty +1/+1 counters, all on the cheap!

The plan is straightforward: Put the huge creatures (eg: Death's Shadow) into the graveyard through Dredge, milling, or discard. Then use Varolz to turn them into +1/+1 counters.

I'm open to suggestions on creatures to use and ways to get them into the graveyard, but since I plan on actually assembling this deck someday, expensive options (such as Phyrexian Dreadnought) are out of the question.

How to Play

The primary feeders in this deck are Death's Shadow, Force of Savagery, Nova Chaser, and Phyrexian Soulgorger. These automatically send themselves to your graveyard (usually) and provide a lot of +1/+1 counters for not a lot of cost.

The Hunted Troll and Hunted Horror act as either fodder or attackers, depending on your situation. The Horror is better as fodder, due to the Protection-from-black centaurs it produces.

Corpsejack Menace makes everything insane. Death's Shadow gives 26 +1/+1 counters for 1B (or 13x4, or 13x8, or 13x16). Plus he can be a beater.
Lotleth trolls helps get your big scary guys out of your hand and into your graveyard, plus he has trample and regenerate, making him a terrifying attacker.
Golgari Grave-Troll acts as a beater and an engine for getting stuff into your graveyard.
Varolz is self-explanatory.

Deck discussion for Varolz's Feast

Looks great but I don't understand why you have Hunted Horror
Also some creatures with modular could work well in this

Hunted Horror gives 7 +1/+1 counters for BB, which is the most cost-effective boost besides Death's Shadow. I get that the two 3/3 pro-black centaurs seem counter-intuitive, but he makes for good fodder, and if you're hitting with any of the tramplers it won't matter. A 3/3 isn't going to stop a 40/40 Lotleth troll. He himself has trample, so if you put him out and boost him to huge levels, those centaurs aren't going to stop you.

Modular seems interesting, but because they usually start as 0/0 they are useless for Scavenge. I'd prefer if every creature in the deck could be scavenged. Plus modular only works between artifacts, so I'd need additional artifact creatures, and Phyrexian Soulgorger doesn't really work for much more than scavenge.
