Deck Description

For standard (as of Mirrodin block)

Mounts for stable life-gain, unblockable damage and incremental pump of creatures.

On a side note, if you remove the sideboard this deck would costs about 12€ (15$) to buy, and is well capable to contend with far more expensive decks. An inexpensive purchase for local tournaments.

Some maches played:

Versus U/B Infect

The truly worst matchup possible, since life gain doesn't mean squat and it's artifact infect critters literally laughed at my protection from u/b. I managed to pump critters quickly and bounced away counters from infect critters. Amazingly...

Result: Win 2-0

Versus Elfs

An interesting match with tons of elfs with tons of mana and tons of life gain via Nissa Revane. I went down to 1 life the first match before Ondu Cleric's turned the match around. With protection from green through Kabira Evangel and Kor Skyfisher, I could deal with Nissa Revane quickly and ended the match with well over 70 life to spare.

The second match ended in disaster as my opponent played Joraga Warcaller with a gazillion counters.

Result: Win 2-1

Versus Kuldotha Red

This deck knows no boundaries when it comes to tempo. A billion 1/1 critters turn 1 with battlecry is not to be taken lightly. I could however throw some "surprise" protection blocks with Kabria Evangel and Join the Ranks. Kor Skyfisher allowed me to gain control over the Contested Warzones and when some serious life gain kicked in, the game was set.

Result: Win 2-1

Deck discussion for Standard Ally

Nice ally deck. I've been looking into making one and this seems like a simple, inexpensive, yet effective deck. Look forward to trying it against my own elf deck.

Thanks, I had economy in mind since I mostly play Legacy. They rotate standard to often for my taste. So I wanted to create a minimum-priced standard deck, yet still contendable on tournaments.

The board cards Ratchet Bomb and Phyrexian Revoker are legacy-worthy so I really don't mind paying 3x the main decks worth for those :)

Hope to hear some feedback after you have tried it against your own deck. Cheers.

After have considered your deck, I'd strongly suggest sideboarding: -2 Survival Cache, -4 Wall of Omens +3 Phyrexian Revoker +3 Ratchet Bomb. There is no need to contend with either life gain nor tempo against elfs (they will simply win).

Targets for Phyrexian Revoker: Argentum Armor, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, or Nissa Revane if situation is critical.

Target for Ratchet Bomb: 1x counters.

Cheers
