Deck Description

This deck is based on my "Standard Ally" deck.

I have splashed in some blue cards:
Halimar Excavators - for alternate mill win condition
... and Jwari Shapeshifter as a "wildcard" for synergy.

I did not remove any essential cards from the Standard Ally deck, so this build should be pretty solid with good synergy.

The basics:
1. Play Ondu Clerics - gain loads of life
2. Play Jwari Shapeshifters - gain even more life
3. Play Halimar Excavators - mill loads of cards
4. Play Kor Skyfisher to re-target Jwari Shapeshifters to Halimar Excavators - mill even more cards.

We also pack beaters, protection, lifelink and basic card economy.

Thanks to illaden and MrBarrelRoll we now also pack some heavy late game card drawing through Sea Gate Loremaster as well as Mimic Vat.

Im not sure I follow you - every single card in this deck (part from lands) is either of Ally creature type, or result in a bounce (re-play an ally), or result in card draw (possability for more allys) - in most games part from turn 1-3 which can be highly random, I drop an ally nearly every single turn.

Mimic Vat is not a bad option, I have considered it; not sure what I would trade it for though, or how many to play in main.

Why no Sea Gate Loremaster? It's one of the craziest card-draw engines that's been printed in a long time. Easy way to refill your hand during the mid and late game.

I did glimpse at Sea Gate Loremaster at times. I guess I haven't considered it as that much broken, since it's also very expensive.

You'd either have to have very few of em in the deck, making their appearance rather random - or make use of some mana ramp - taking up more slots needed for cheap fuel for Ondu Cleric or Halimar Excavator.

I will conduct some experiments with it and get back to you when I have some conclusions, thanks for the suggestion :)

Thanks goes to both MrBarrelRoll and illaden, Sea Gate Loremaster proved to be an excellent late game bomb and Mimic Vat has works exceptionally with Halimar Excavator (steal discarded critters) or Jwari Shapeshifter (play as a 0/0, goes to graveyard on resolve - imprints on Mimic Vat = inf. wildcard)

Still tweeking a bit on card balance, will update the deck within 1-2 days.
