Deck discussion for Standard Myrs

Doubt this 'Infinite strategy' would work because:
1) Alot of luck required to make this work
2) If you're playing with a friend who is familar with you deck, it's easily countered
3) There are many ways this could be countered.
Anyways it's a good deck to play casually =D

Not to poke a hole in this, but this doesn't create infinite Myrs. The Myrsmiths ability is a triggered ability, so you can only do it once the trigger happens. And because you aren't infinitely playing spells, you aren't infinitely gaining Myrs.

However, you are infinitely gaining mana. Which i'm totally putting that combo in my Artifact deck.

Not true. I looked up the ruling on it.
I can play one artifact spell and keep pumping until I run out of mana.
=3
It's not meant to be an ultra-serious deck. It's for casual FNM play really.

That's what I thought, because I used to do the same type of thing with a pay (1) gain one life when a spell was cast with infinite mana for infinite life. But on the Gatherer website, someone mentioned that it wasn't allowed.

My personal opinion is to allow it, i believe that wizards is just saying 1:1 mana to myr ratio.

I am debating on putting Myr Reservoir in, incase they kill one of my Galvanizers or it's milled or countered or whatever. Thoughts on what to drop for it and how many to put in?

I think I will drop the two Darksteel Juggernauts for Myr Battlesphere and the Vigil for the lost for 2 more Shape Anew and 2 My Resivior . Thoughts?

Definitely drop the Juggernauts for the Battlesphere.

And I was going to suggest more Shape Anews for the Vigil for the Lost.

The Reservoir would be useful, i'd probably add 2 for your Venser's to be honest. Simply because Venser doesn't seem to fit in this deck. And you should probably some Vigil for the Losts in, simply for infinite health.

Question. A creature coming into play as part of an effect does not count as playing a spell, right?

I hate it when I work so hard on something and I'm genuinely proud of what I've accomplished...then this happens. D'oh.

What if I used a sac outlet and I used myr res to bring back and then play a myr (artifact creature) Are there any sac outlets in the form of enchantment in standard right now?
