This deck is all about the setup. Since standard is very slow paced at the moment most games come down to which deck can grind down the other. The main-deck is built for match ups against other mid-range decks. We have abrupt decay in the sideboard either to deal with early aggro cards (Silverblade Paladin is a good example) or with controls decks using O-rings and detentions sphere's. Intangible Virtue is in the sideboard because everything in the main-deck works better against most match-ups. It does work well if the deck is up against slow paced control as well as slower based mid-range. Duress is to counter the counter heavy control decks. Purify the Grave is the graveyard hate that every deck needs. It is there instead of Rest in Peace because loosing the flashback of Lingering Souls is too detrimental compared to the benefits Rest in Peace brings over Purify the Grave.
