It runs a lot better than the rather shotty sample hand on here. it has a couple problems yet but not many at all. Itd sideboard needs a couple changes to it yet but other than that I'm only looking for a couple things and waiting for a tournament around my area.

Unfortunately i don't really have much left to suggest for this deck..that's my issue with standard not enough room for creativity..

Well I'm working on finishing a modern tournament deck getting the last few list changes if you want to take a peek ill post a link to save you time. I'm actually looking to get into competitive magic a bit. 40k is a nice prize after all

I just noticed it. It looks a lot better now. you may laugh but i have never played a standard format game. I usually play a modern gw that just annoys the crap outta ppl

Not a problem at all. Though you may want to replace the gates for the temples completely since the blue white temple is out now. still come in tapped but at least get a scry out of it.

At the very lest an extra win con never hurts i don't play standard but hear all the whining about the control decks not having originality and all win with aetherling. but i honestly think this is quite original since its not dependant on aetherling. Frankly id like it twice if i could because of the originality and not being so typical. I prefer originality over what's typical and tried. but i hope my suggestions help.

I like it. though you could add the second aetherling to the main deck and add tajic blade of the legion since its indestructible. And when all three swing its really game ending

That is a good question i think they would help manage your colors and they work with the shock lands if you want to use them as well. If so i would definitely get misty rainforest and verdant catacombs. I think those are they only two that would work I'm not sure though. but yes i think they'd be a good buy for this.

Nevermind they don't tap for mana but thinning the deck by letting you search for a color you need

The fetch lands cost a point of life but thin your deck out.they are expensive but typically a staple in tournament decks because they tap for mana and let you thin the deck out

You target what you borrow from opponents and target yourself so you keep what you act of treason or whatever card you use to steal.

No i don't think so. i mean it'll protect something byt it will slow your whole strategy down.

Though darksteel plate may be an option to keep that from happening but in modern its more aggressive play. it looks like it'll do pretty good. if it doesn't just change it around a little to help against what gave it problems. i don't see much being problematic other than decks with a focus around exiling

I don't think the threads are really needed goyf will really be the only card worth stealing that's two casting. dark confidant really isn't worth it either i mean it speeds you up on cards but they likely won't kill it and let it kill you. its a great card that can really backfire.
