Not a problem. its a common mistake with the ruling oddly it usually involves one of the Rhys cards. though you may want to consider genesis wave as well. with all the mana producers and 3 casters seem to be thehighest cmc it would do awesome things even early on

Love the build gets my like! but there's a single problem i noticed its rhys the exiled. you can't actually use him in here because of the ruling on color identity saying costs in abilities count towards the colors of the card overall. Though you could replace it with mercy killing and hit your own big elf making a lot more for yourself

Wouldn't it be the same as casting a counterspell to stop the casting of a spell targeting the bear yes it was targeted but if the spell was countered the spell never targeted for lack of better words, wouldn't the bear live?

Its higher than a cmc of 3 buy maybe true convictions

I know the feeling. i try not to buy singles over 5 unless it's a last resort. and it seems like a hassle finding the lands you need. Its why i collect planeswalkers. excellent fodder for trades.

I have to suggest a couple Rhys the redeemed joroga warcaller and immaculate magistrates

Curiosity was pointed out to me and after i built my.izzet deck with niv mizzet the firemind and its been in since. Though you ought to switch the gates for sulfur falls as well

Looking through your decks I'm guessing you play a lot of casual if I'm wrong i apologize. And may i suggest curiosity to go on those guttersnipes or adding niv mizzet the firemind with the curiosity. the latter combination allows instant win while drawing as much as you like. while with guttersnipe curiosity allows you to replace what you cast

I'm not one for monoblue but i really like this its quite unique!

I think you'd be able to manage with taking a copperhorn scout and one of the llanowar elves or Elvish mystics for two just to make it slightly more irritating. Maybe get a couple wirewood lodges too lol

Ok if you read the cards they say when an opponent or a wording variant of lifelink and therefore WOULD NOT HIT YOU. the only part that involves you is a: the trigger on one. B:the resolution of the other. you would win the game because even IF they were to drain your life it would infinitely jump between to numbers for instance say you did two points of damage to trigger the loop. And your life was at 25. Your own life would jump between the total of all other players and yours. but since neither effect can hit you it doesn't matter. its on the cards themselves the sundial is pointless.

I noticed one other thing that hasn't been mentioned immaculate magistrate to go with the warcaller

Hmm being a guy that loves being that guy who plays elves becoming the jackass everyone goes after as well i have to say...neat! the few suggestions i could make are really priest of titania if your not going for modern a way to give haste and genesis wave. love the deck

I actually checked about this by calling wizards before since i used a similar method in the dragon deck i built. no you would not sacrifice it because while it originally came into play via the ability it it was exiled and came back in via a new effect. since the end of turn effect was no longer valid at all you would keep the championed creature when it came back into play until it is killed
