Deck discussion for Martyr Control

With the low mana cost of your creatures, as a suggestion, instead of Proclamation of Rebirth, you could use Immortal Servitude, it'll get all of your creatures back instead of just 3

I don't completely understand but what's the point of the Flagstones? Other than that really cool deck.

If they try to kill your land, like I play a living end deck and i have fulminator mages to destroy non basics and in my sideboard I have 4 avalanche riders that when they enter the battlefield they destroy target land and are a 2/2 with haste an echo

On the other hand they are non-basic lands for nor immediate reason, making you vulnerable to non-basic-hate like Blood Moon, Back to Basics and such.

Yolo man ha and any deck using blood moon should die ha. Playimg mono red? Always use blood moon. Not feeling like being a troll? Don't use blood moon ha but in any case you have a point especially when its a mono white deck

That was just an example. You could also play Magus of the Moon in aggressive mono-red decks, so you can still swing while still having a Blood Moon effect in play. And I don't know about your group but in my group you see non-basic-hate regularily, if not for the pure reason to make people think twice about bloating their decks with non-basics. Sometimes a single Price of Progress does more damage than your creature the entire game ...

Anyway, I can understand both sides of the coin: Ruins of Trokair have no drawback compared to basic Plains, they don't come into play tapped for example. But they are non-basic and this in turn can be a drawback. Hard tell which is better because it depends of what your opponents play. But this is a call the author of the deck can make better than we can :)

The meta in my hometown is three guys have access to any cards they need at anytime, some people have some good decks, a ton of kids who play modern with basically just out-o-standard cards and I have some fun brutal decks ha so non-basic destruction is a 50/50

My meta is with a lot of aggro like merfolfk or jund and combo like rg tron or twin... And with some control like uwr that is a very hard match up

With the ability to bring out tokens and to also return creatures to the battlefield from the graveyard, maybe you could consider Soul's Attendant? It's triggered ability would help to add to your life total quite a bit I think.

Better Auriok Champion because of the protection.
EDIT: Forget that. If it costs 2, you can't search for it ...

Why not add a elixer of imortality? bring back your martyr or other good cards?

The exilir isn't useful in this deck IMHO

It would refill your deck with key creatures that you can fetch with the next Ranger of Eos, though.

But I need creatures in graveyard for immortal servitude and emeria

Nice spin on a Martyr - deck. Most Martyr decks are more focused on lifegain then control, so this is a fresh take on an old classic.

Do you know how it holds up in tournament play?

Personally I use the following version, which works fairly consistent in most metagames:

Ok,

Mine stacks fairly well in most metagames, but it is slightly more aggressive build.
