In the spirit of Legacy Grand Prix, I decided to show off my favorite modern deck that i've built, It's modern death and taxes. It has won me a lot of the modern tournaments at FNM and i'm pretty pleased with it. check it out, likes comments suggestions all welcome. i'm still trying to think of a decent Sideboard haven't been to FNM in like a month now. soo yeah hope you enjoy.
Most of it is simple straight forward denial. Leonin arbiter as well as the mind censors combo'd with stuff like path to exile and ghost quarter make for some extreme rage by the opponent, The thalias are there for obvious reasons. swords of war and peace protect my creatures from other paths as well as burn removal. The flickerwisps can remove blockers or save another more important creature. mangara is vindicate with a body as well as can be combo'd with stonecloaker or flickerwisp as well.Turn 1: Land Aether Vialturn 2: Land Thalia, counter on Aether VialTurn 3: Multitude of things you could do. mirran crusader, blade splicer, etc.as well as Aethervialing in an arbiter or mind censor.game should continue on and you'll eventually just either completely shut down you're opponent or over power them for the win.

Awesome deck, but Stonecloaker seems kinds eh, even with Mangara of Corondor. Maybe try more removal instead? You could try Spectral Procession? This deck seems sweet though. Happy winning :)

It really is a fun deck, and yes i do feel some more removal would help, i'm just not sure what exactly i would remove ya know everything in here is good and serves a purpose. ya know?
You could possibly run fiend hunters. You can cast one then either vial either wisp or stonecloacker while the remove trigger is on the stack and permanent remove creatures just like mangara does. As for the sideboard you just have to look at what the most used modern decks are. Definitely need affinity hate.
