infinite 1/2 fairies comboing pestermite and kiki jiki have kiki jiki out and play pester mite tap kiki jiki and make a copy of pestermite untap kiki jiki tap kiki jiki make a copy of pestermite and so on. or another infininte combo dovescape and guile or lava spike, desperate ritual, izzet guildmage (use the splice into aricane with the desperate ritual splice into lava spike use the three red to copy it)

You sure Dovescape and Guile work? Guile does say "instead of..", so it sound it sounds like to me sense the spell isn't really being countered you wont get your birds. Just saying, if it works cool i was just wondering because i have those cards and i know if i play them like that it would start argument with my friends. By the way love the kike pester combo there, swarms of faeries rock.

Guile's second ability replaces "counter [a certain spell]" with "exile [a certain spell] and you may cast it without paying its mana cost." You have the option to cast it immediately upon its exile. If you choose not to, it remains exiled and you don't get another chance to cast it. If the spell or ability that tried to counter the spell has additional effects, it then continues to resolve. so you would get the infinite birds. nice combo. +1
