Deck Description

Trying to reproduce a deck a friend of mine had in the days where Odyssey and Onslaught Blocks are fresh new... I don't remember how it really was (I don't think it's that different), so it's a little improvised.
My friend deck used to rock, I hope this one can still cause troubles.
Any suggestions and advices are welcomed, just limit it to Invasion, Odyssey and Onslaught Blocks.

Detail: The original deck my friend used didn't had a sideboard, just the 2 Teroh he used against decks with a lot of black creatures, I included myself the sideboard for fun.

How to Play

The strategy is very simple. Have the birds on play, and feed your Soulcatcher and yours Soulcatcher's Aerie sacrificing some birds, if possible, with Sigil of the New Dawn in play, to recover the birds. Kirtar is good in this play, since you can sacrifice him to take out your opponents creatures and bring him back. Gustcloak Savior is there to protect the creatures on combat if necessary (and he is a bird) as is Keeper of Nine Gales.
When your Soulcathcers are big and your creatures are all powered up, you just have to put your enemies out of misery.

Another way of turning on the tides is Kangee. Kangee can help you increase your army soldiers, and then, you just need to turn then on powerful Dragons with Day of the Dragon. And with Saprazzan Cove, you can make a lot of birds from Kangee.

To protect you there was some instants to take down your enemies powerful spells, and Teferi's Moat, opening the way for you to attack, if the opponent doesn't have any flying creature.

Deck discussion for Deadly Pigeons

With a deckname like this you should have at least a single Carrier Pigeon, even if it is a bad card.
