A poison deck, embracing what Scars has to offer. Sign in Blood and mana birds speed up the deck, its important to get poison counters quickly. I don't care if I lose life to SiB, I'm going for the poison kill. The birds also provide diversity of mana for this three colour deck. The birds are also make for damage in an Overwhelming Stampede should an alternate victory condition be required. Steady Progress provides some card drawing to speed up the deck but more importantly it accelerates the spread of infect tokens. Contagion Engine is the end game proliferation required get those final poison counters in. The manabirds also speed up this drop and fuel the activation.

overall it looks good, if i was you i would take out the contagious nim and use ichor rats it gets the poison counters to the opponent faster and its still a 3 drop with 2 attack and also i would take out the stampede cause your not going to get much pump unless you have a couple hand of the praetors out and i would throw in either tainted strike so your birds can get poison damage in or i would use vines of vastwood for that pump or troll shroud in case your opponent has spot removal also a sideboard would help aswell if you plan on going into any tourneys use the blight dragon and distortion strike cause your using blue also smother or deathmark and mana leak and you could put your stampede in and elixir of immortality aswell in case of mill

Try switching out the Contagion engines to Contagion Clasp? Much cheaper and effective right away... and instead of Overwhelming stampede, why not Garuk? anyway looks good dude.
I agree about the engines becoming clasps but i think you don't need any "Overrun" effects. Just simple pump spells like Groudswell or Giant Growth are awesome!
If you're running blue and infect, Distortion Strike is practically the best thing you can run! Try it. You don't need cultivate at all. Instead, try adding a few more 3 mana drop infect dudes.
