Every time I think of designing a Dragon deck, I end up designing it around Dragonstorm. So I decided to design one not using Dragonstorm and this is that attempt. Braid of Fire to activate Dragon / Furnace Whelp's "Firebreathing", Kargan Dragonlord's level up or Rakdos Pit Dragon's activated abilities, leaving mana open to cast other spells / dragons. Land search because the average mana cost of my dragons is 4 (and it helps Dragonmaster Outcast's ability trigger).

No Dragonspeaker Shaman? Always expect him in dragon decks :D Biggest problem I have when playing dragons is getting them out early and cheap. So I use the shaman, Seething song and Geosurge. But I see the Braid of Fire, Khalni Heart Expedition and search for Tomorrow, are there for the mana ramp in this deck. Will definitely get myself a set of Braid of Fire, Dragonmaster Outcast and Crucible of Fire if I ever find any :P Very nice deck :-)

With the creatures that are Dragon by default costing 4, the Shaman seems useless to me. I associate cards Like Seething Song with Dragonstorm, so I tried to avoid them. I feel I should point out that the mana from Braid of Fire can only be used in the upkeep step, a lot of people tend to miss that part about the card.
I missed that about Braid of Fire, thanks for the heads up :-)
Kargan Dragonlord is not a dragon. Its sad but true... Still, he is a great card.
