I have a bunch of Thallid cards from the Time Spiral black and thought I'd try make a Modern deck with them. Runed Stalactite ?is to turn Mycologist ?or Thelon of Havenwood into Fungi to gain the bonuses that Fungi get in this deck. Shielding Plax ?to give Thelon of Havenwood (and some of the Fungi) a form of Hexproof. I was going to use Pack's Disdain but realised Tragic Slip was better as I should be able to activate Morbid on command with the Fungi's abilities. Psychotrope Thallid ?and Luminescent Rain are in Sideboard as I'm not sure if I want to work them into the deck.
