Deck build for a Commander event with the theme "Lands and Creatures only".The deck is still a work in progress.Sideboard contains cards I'm still considering.
Rocco is key in fetching various combo pieces and/or silver bullets.Playing Rocco for X=1 allows you to fetch out Wirewood Symbiote, then you can bounce Rocco to hand with the Symbiote so you can get around the Commander tax.We want to cast Rocco Multiple times to fetch all our prices.Wirewood Symbiote only let's us bounce Rocco once a turn, butit is the cheapest option for us to fetch. If we fetch out Temur Sabertooth, provided we have enough mana we can bounce Rocco multiple times in the same turn. Skyshroud Elf and Orochi Leafcaller let's us turn that green mana into red or white so we can still cast our other colours.Combos in the deck:Infinite mana:Devoted Druid + Vizier of Remedies or Melira, Sylvok Outcast gives us infinite green mana.Game winning combo #1:Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista or Triskelion.Because Rocco puts the creature directly onto the battlefield, Walking Ballista would die immediately. That why we have both versions of Witness and Shigeki.Game winning combo#2:Kiki-Jiki + any one of Combat Celebrant; Felidar Guardian; Restoration Angel; or Village Bell-Ringer.Came winning combo #3:Combat damage with stupidly large, trampling creatures. To do this, we need a large board of creatures and either Ezuri, Renegade Leader (with enough mana to use his Overrun multiple times), or Craterhoof Behemoth.Reason for excessive number of Druids:Besides them giving a lot of mana to fuel the combos, Gilt-Leaf Archdruid draws a card each time you cast a Druid, and you can tap 7 Druids to Gilt-Leaf Archdruid's second ability to permanently take control of an opponent's lands (cue evil laughter)
