Deck Description

heliosofcows gave me a challenge to make an assassin tribal deck using Thraximundar and no more than one set of a counter spell. That deck can be found here:

This deck is closer to how I'd make a tribal Assassin deck. Trip Noose + Royal Assassin is a cool 'combo'.

Icy manipulator may also be helpful. But this deck is awesome :)

How about stabbing pain? It taps AND kills stuff. Also, good job with the killing wave. I never noticed the synergy with Scarblade Elite.

I totally just ripped you off and built this deck. I was wondering how effective having the killing waves in the deck work? I haven't got a chance to play this deck yet and was thinking about replacing the killing waves.

Honestly, I only designed this for a challenge, I don't own even half of the cards in this :|
I've only ever cast Killing Wave once (I put 6 mana into X) and at the time my opponent was on 4 life (I only owned 1 KW at the time), I have had it used against me though and I must say the timing and amount to put into X is very situational, but rewarding regardless of whether the opponent pays the X life or sacrifices creatures. So I'd say to try the deck with them in it and decide from there.

Try Geth's Verdict? - not only helps destroy a creature, opponent also loses a life. Assassin decks are really cool although they might not be the toughest. I have been trying to build an assassin/hybrid deck ?, using my graveyard as a source of power and flexibility. Still needs work. If you can give me some advice I'd appreciate it.
