MOD97 is a player supported format idea by "Deemed Lord Of Mann". It's inspired by the much hyped player supported format Old School Magic 97 (which uses decks built with original cards from Alpha to Alliances) and the best Magic: The Gathering digital game ever created: the Micropose 1997 Shandalar.It tries to capture the feeling of the old cards and 97 games and combines this with Modern, my favorite format of all time into possibly semi-competitive budget builds (yeah, we are not spending 2K in a Juzam Djinn playset anytime soon.

Used the combination of Jokulhaups and Rukh egg to lock people out of games entirelly.For modern times, the Eggs are still available, so along other Old School favorites like papa Shivan Dragon (replaced by Bogardan Hellkite) and Lightning Bolt it make a show again.
