crap i cant remember the name of it but theres an elf its either 1 or 2 forests but when you play it, its a 1/1, and when it comes into play you put a land from your hand to play tapped, its a pretty cool card i used to play that in my mono green deck.. also you might wanna look at "Khalni Heart Expedition", i play that in my landfall deck.

A problem with the piper is that as soon as you play it your opponent knows you're trying to bring out something big, so piper gets countered, bounced, burned, killed or exiled before it does what it's supposed to. I'd stick with mana ramp to get the big ones out, like Llanowar Elves and Rampent Growth.

Ok, instead of the piper, use llanowar elves, they're cheaper and help you with your curve, the piper is only really shines in progenitus decks and iona decks and such. Also, drop the grapplers for 4 deadly recluses, it's a 1/2 Reach and Deathtouch for the same cost, also, drop 2 rampant growths for 2 Leatherback Baloths, you don't need to pull that much land, and a 4/5 for GGG is crazy in a mono-green deck. Do this and you're good to go bro.

Also, i almost forgot, replace the remaining 2 rampant growths for 2 harrows, twice the effectiveness for 1 more mana, and sacking one land for two doesn't matter, its basically rampant growth only you get 2 lands out of the way instead of just 1.

Plus they help with the landfall.
