Deck Description

The original idea for this deck was a new and fun way to hard cast Emrakul, and after toying with the deck for a few months now, it has brought out the true 'Johnny' side to my love of the game.
This deck is in my opionion one of the funniest decks I have played since the days of Necropotence being legal!

The idea of this deck is to cast a kicked rite of replication on one of your creatures. There are 6 creatures in this deck which cannot be targeted (Wall of Denial, Kozilek and Emrakul) and all of the others have certain synergies to them.
Pelakka Wurm- Gain 35 life and have 6 7/7 stompers with Trample
Overgrown Battlement- Have access to 36 mana in the walls alone (hard cast Emrakul or anything else you want)
Ulamog's Crusher- Sacrifice 12 permanents
Baneslayer Angel- Who doesnt love having 6 of these ladies on the battlefield at one time?
Birds of Paradise- One of the weaker choices for the replication, but i have used it a few times to hard cast my Emrakul the next turn. They are there more for mana fixing than anything.
Sea Gate Oracle- Another of the weaker choices, but if needed gives you a look a 10 cards to complete your missing piece to the puzzle.

Now I know some of you are wondering why I decided to go with Sea Gate Oracle over Wall of Omens. I went with Oracle for 3 reasons. 1) Oracle has better synergy with Jace 2.0 allowing me to reset the cards while using his scry 2) I found when running Omens my Battlements were getting targeted with removel much more often 3) Has a better pay off if needed to be targeted with replication

Wall of Denial- is there because it shuts down any and just about all early game creature threats and is very hard to remove.
Kozilek, Butcher of Truth- great for card advantage and if left unresolved is a game breaker in itself
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn- not a better finisher in all of magic
Jace, the Mind Sculptor - One of the best cards in the game and great for setting up the combos in this deck
Gideon Jura- great for taking the heat off you, another option for creature removal, and option to lay some beatings of his own
Garruk- good for helping get enough mana to cast you combos, and good for chump blockers if need be
Mana leak- a counter option
Mind Spring- dig for those cards if need be

Sideboard
Acidic Slime- Has great synergie with Rite of Replication and can easily be substituted with Banslayer in many different matchups that require some extra removal
Dauntless Escort- protects your creatures from any sweep attempts
Wall of Denial- If you feel the need for an extra blocker
Oblivion Ring- Planeswalker, artifact, enchanment removal
Cancel and Flashfreeze - If you need more control vs certain matchups
Path to Exile - For any pesky creatures (vengvine, etc.....)

This deck really has endless possiblities for creature additions but these are the ones I have been working with lately. I find myself changing the deck around quite frequently and always have a great time playing it. Quite often I find myself with access to 42 mana by turn 5!!! I mean that just has fun written all over it!

Welcome to any suggestions as long as they are standard legal. Thanks

You could try replicating lodestone golems, to make all their sell cost 6 more mana, if they dont have any defense that pretty much ends it. Or you could replicate a Halimar Excavator to mill them for 150 cards. Maybe you should look into the Titans as well, the blue one could completely tap them out. Red titan for 15 damage, Green for then rest of your land, or Black for a huge ass army.

All very good suggestions, thats what I love about this deck, there are sooo many options which is awsome because it always keeps the deck fresh and fun to play. Rite of Replication to me has always been one of the most underrated 'junk' rares since its release. I really like the idea of the Halimar Excavator and will be sure to try it out. I used to run Red over White in this deck for Banefire and the red Titan would seem to work awsome for the replication. Thank you for your comments :)

if you do decide to put red into this deck maybe throw in dragonmaster outcast. with the rite of replication thats 6 5/5 red dragons a turn. but other than that seems like one of those decks that none of your friends want to play against because it doesnt lose often

I actually play pretty much strictly online now as I find it easier to fit into my schedule with being able to find a game at anytime of the day/night. But this deck does hold its own pretty well even against some of the top decks in standard right now. I don't think I will be splashing red again because it really just messes up the mana situation and 3 colors are hard enough to pull off, also white is really needed for wall of denial and gideon to buy me time for my combos to work. White also has great removal options in the sideboard which are needed against certain matchups. Thanks for taking the time to comment
