I bought a Dakkon Blackblade from Legends for a dollar in 1997 and I thought it was the coolest card I had ever seen. I had it proudly displayed in a hard case in my for a long time, but never managed to put him into a deck until now.
The goal is to drop all the land in your deck as quickly as possible and swing with a huge Dakkon. Scouting Trek followed by Treasure Hunt allow you to drop all of your land in one turn if you have Manabond or Fastbond (with Gladehart) in play. Follow that up with Mega-Dakkon. Whispersilk Cloak provides protection and evasion. There are a lot of cards for searching for all the combo pieces. The Sword is overkill, but who is Dakkon Blackblade without a blade?
