Hi. I'm Tim. Polar Kraken my favorite magic card of all time. When I first started playing, I spent countless hours trying to cast him. I was never too successful. This is my attempt at a commander deck focused solely on that task.There are quite a few cards in there to tutor up your trampling terror. Most of them are straight forward. Natural Order will require Swirl the Mists. Luckily, your commander is every color, so he will be able to take one for the team If Natural Order should occur.Speaking of Cromat, he is also very useful when you go on a Quest for Ula's Temple. Before each upkeep, you can put him on top of your library to gain a counter.This can all be a very slow process. In order to keep things under control, there are some cards that will wipe the board of creatures every now and then until you get your own.There are a couple ways to get land out quickly:Thawing Glaciers, Stone-Seeder Hierophant and Amulet of Vigor can drag every basic land out of your deck and put them onto the battlefield in on the same turn.The same goes for Treasure Hunt, Scouting Trek and Manabond.Maze's end will help ramp out your gates (also, second win condition)What to do once you have your big critter out? How about giving him double strike? How about multiple attacks? He'll be doing what he does best - dealing obscene amounts of damage. With Eon Hub, he can make himself at home with no drawback.Of course, when he shows up, your opponents will likely try to get rid of him. Asceticism will prevent that altogether - along with allowing for regeneration. Enduring Renewal provides him with many lives - as does Purgatory.Polar Kraken!!
