Deck Description

Okay, so here's the idea behind this deck. Obviously it's creature-based. My main goal is to get Ravenous Demon out into play, and since it's a human deck, it'll be no problem to get it transformed and continue to pay the cost of upkeep (although it should be widely unnecessary after 2 or 3 turns). Using Seance in addition to Ravenous Demon is a great combo, because any creature that is in the graveyard can be brought back with Seance, becoming a whatever-spirit token, quite probably a human-spirit, which can be used to sac again for the Demon's effect if necessary.
Mentor of the Meek is in here as a draw to try to get my combo out faster, and Hero of Bladehold will help pump out creatures (yes, I'm aware they aren't humans, but they are good pawns just the same).
Gideon's Lawkeeper and Avenger is another useful combo to play around with, so this deck is just full of potential.

Deck discussion for In death, there is life.

Gideon's Avenger, imo, isn't the best choice, and you're definitely better off with Doomed Traveler. Avacyn's Collar would be quite good with the Demon, and it will give you a token if you sac an attached human to the Demon. You could get a pretty good swing from Seance-ing an Automaton and naming spirits with Traveler's and Collar's tokens.
I also think that Tragic Slip would be much better removal than Dismember. You could remove Archangel's Light and Dismember for a playset of Slips.
Swiftfoot Boots can become relevant if you're opponent casts a global, because the creature you return gets haste.
Now I can't say I like the Automaton's in here, and I think they could get replaced by those equipment I mentioned.
Lingering Souls and Thraben Doomsayer are pretty sweet with some of the cards I mentioned, and Souls could work in SB.

That's a deck that I've been workin on since before DKA. I love me some tokens.

Liliana of the Veil works wonders with a Seance build, if you can afford them.
