Deck discussion for Orzhova meets Eventide => Lifelink

Another Lifelink deck in W/B ... well, I've got to say some things of personal experience. Firstly, Ajani's Avatar is not as good as it sounds like. It doesn't have Trample, nor does it have Lifelink. The enemy just has to block with a 1/1 creature to hold him off. I personally use his second ability most of the time. With strong and early cast Creatures with lifelink, like for example Knight of Meadowgrain and Vampire Nighthawk your Ajani's second Ability can be devastating... because they also get Vigilance until the end of the turn. Secondly, if I were you, I'd cut the 2 Deathbringer Liege and replace them with another 2 Divinity of Pride. Deathbringer Liege is good, no doubt. But what would you rather have in your hand, Deathbringer Liege or Divinity of Pride? You want to kill your enemy as fast as possible, and Divinity of Pride does help here a lot more than the Liege. Also, why play Otherworldly Journey in Mainboard? I don't get the point. I'd cut those and play some carddraw, dunno, Night's Whisper or the Well of lost Dreams. If you play with small fry like Nip Gwyllion and Mourning Thrull, you could also include Righteousness. It can surprise your opponent pretty well. Hope this helped... ;) You can ofc compare this deck to my "W/B Aggro Lifelink Survival" deck. Greetz.

hi, thanks for the advice. I Just uploaded the newer version of this one ;)
I also noticed the weeknesses and did a mayor workover.
You are also right with the Deathbringer, but i kind of like him too much ;)

Serra's Ascendant and Divinity of Pride were without doubt the strongest creatures in this deck. Why did you cut them? And why did you cut Ajani Goldmane? Almost every creature you play should have Lifelink, if this is supposed to be a "Lifelink" deck anyway ... Exalted Angel and Felidar Sovereign are other great creatures with Lifelink... Greetz. PS: Imho the Guildmage is terrible and Teysa, Orzhov Scion doesn't fit in here, even if you play 8 creatures that are cheap to cast and that have both colors... Sorry but I'm just being honest here... have I already said that I too have a Lifelink deck, which is "somewhat effective" against most decks ...

hi, thanks for replying.
And you dont have to be sorry for your honesty. As i mention in the description, i have ideas for this one in a better version. I just dont have the cards already, I`m trying to get them together soon.
But actually, this deck works pretty well in my group.
It has quiet good chances against zombies, sliver and green decks. Burn is only a problem if they have this "cant gain life, damage cant be revented cards" ;) but sideboarding should do this.
