Deck Description

Large dragons fielded quickly and cheaply. Success comes from attacking early and often.

How to Play

Depending on draw look to use Priest of Titania or Dragonspeaker Shaman to drive Dragon costs down for quick deployment. If your are lucky enough to field spellbound dragon fast then every draw/card in hand becomes a potential sack and stack for massive damage. Rancor or Loxodon warhammer should be added if running into blockers is possible. Crucible of Fire and Fireshrieker just provide another quick outlit to end the game with a quick wave of dragon beat down.

Deck discussion for Down Right Dragons

I am not prideful. I welcome any and all ideas that add speed or additional burn/damage(hopefully in the form of a dragon). Trample and lifesteal I believe also wouldnt hurt, but generating enough mana to put addition benefits in place may be problematic.

warstorm surge might be a good idea? Also, below is a link for my dragon EDH if it helps you get other ideas..... The cards within the side board are part of the deck, it's just away for me keeping track of which cards i still need to buy :)

Nice addition to add big burn, but takes some mana and turns to get there!

yes but you tend to get it out before a lot of your big dragons so it works out well when you have the mana

as a long time dragon player (my first deck :D) KILNMOUTH DRAGON.

He is the most absurdly powerful dragon you can have a dragon deck

I would replace the 2 tyrants and 2 shivans for 4 of him. the shivans are OK for a dragon and the tyrant isn't as good as kilnmouth. You could put the tyrant in the sideboar if you face an artifact deck.

Dragon egg and clockwork dragon are pretty bad for a good dragon deck, you could replace them with more dragons like mordant or hellkite charger OR you could replace them with some ramp like seething song, explore, geosurge even.

Some more ramp i have found to be really useful is the red amulet (can't remember the name >_<) that makes all red spells 1 colorless less and Caged sun, a really good ramp spell.

I may be biased as he was my first mythic but Koth can be really good for ramping your mountains.

As i just now realize, all my suggestions ar emostly because my dragon deck is mono red. They are still helpful in a multicolored deck but mono-red is something you MAY want to consider.

If you went mono-red you could use quicksilver amulet instead of elvish piper

Hope i helped!

You sure did, went in and did a little fine tuning. Still wanted to keep the elves in there for the quick mana ramp they represent when you want to use additional perks on cards and equipping. Bring on the quick beat down if you know what I mean.
