Deck Description

Blueberries: small, nutritious, tasty fruit that you can eat on the go

Mono blue deck trying for a 'low to the ground' engine game that fields something fun quickly, then either protects it and grinds out the advantage win or else stalls out opponent's plan while taking advantage of 'dead mana' to gain advantage.

The low to the ground engines are (of course) Tamiyo (speaks for herself), and trying out Stormchaser's Talent in the second spot, as its prowess token benefits from your shenanigans, and you can cast it turn 1 and grind for damage.

The dead mana advantage is (of course) Saga gaming, but also Talent's second and third abilities, which are by no means cheap/reliable, but are great resources in games when you're topdecking, as you get a refill on a spell for 4 and a win condition for 6, so if you can fight opponent out of the opening and middle game into a drawn out conflict, your Talent will sit there biding its time until you can throw mana into it and get back in the game. This is especially useful with Force of Will, as you can grab a Force back turn 4, so the shields won't be entirely down the turn you throw your 4 mana into the refill.

The rest of the deck supports these ideas with a little more synergy thrown in on top, particularly with Devastation Tide, which has all sorts of fun tricks to be played in the build as is. I wanted to try out Portent with it as well, particularly because it synergizes perfectly with Talent, but also because you can either use it if you need the pseudo-brainstorm into Tide/out/whatever, or you can use it to slow down opponent/plan your turns accordingly, especially in a topdeck race where this card becomes a potential game winner.

Feedback appreciated.
