Deck Description

So it's a Bruna EDH deck with a TON of enchantments.

How to Play

I've yet to play it, this is just a mockup. Obviously the objective is to put a few creatures out, enchant them and them wait until you can play Bruna, attach them all and beat the heck out of your opponent. Umbra mystic makes your creatures almost impenetrable. The biggest weakness is a deck loaded with disenchants but even then Bruna hits and can end the game.

Deck discussion for Bruna and the 7 Enchantments

Cauldron Haze wouldn't be legal in a Bruna deck.

Battle Mastery is a MUST HAVE enchantment, behind only Eldrazi Conscription in how much damage it adds. Ethereal Armor gets out of hand fast, too, as can Celestial Mantle. Yeah, the casting cost sucks on Mantle, but Bruna doesn't care, BOOM from your hand to her back for free and you're now at 80 life.

I'd strongly consider Traumatize. Decking yourself for 40 cards in your first main phase means that when Bruna attacks she sucks 8-10 enchantments out of your graveyard onto herself, BOOM. You can do similar tricks with Mirror-Mad Phantasm and Tunnel Vision.

You're also running quite a few Umbras. At least in my Bruna deck I run every Unbra I can, and I've got like 11 board wipes (Fated Retribution, Akroma's Vengeance, Austere Command, Cataclysm, Day of Judgement, Divine Reckoning, Planar Cleansing, Rout, Supreme Verdict, Winds of Rath, Wrath of God). Cast a wipe, kill everything but Bruna who is wearing an Umbra, attack, suck the Umbra back onto her, BOOM, repeat next turn.

I've thought about adding board wipes, especially because if I cast a bunch of enchantments with a few creatures, it kills everything and leaves all my creatures, bring Bruna out and attach them all, and bam...the problem is it adds to the cost quite a bit (of building the deck) and I'm trying to keep it on the cheap. Auramancer's Guise is what really adds up fast, plus the Eidolon of Countless Battles makes everything huge. The Umbra mystic gives every enchantment aura, totem armor. So I have a bunch of counter spells in case someone targets either the Eidolon or Umbra Mystic.

I'm excited to give it a try and then balance it out with what I'm missing.

I'm all for building on the cheap. Bear in mind though that Fated Retribution, Divine Reckoning, Planar Cleansing, and Winds of Rath are all under a buck to buy. Pretty often they're the kind of cards that if you're trading with people online or in person you can make a deal for something you want that you'd take straight-up and then get them to throw it in just as icing.

Oh, and take a look at Savor the Moment, too. I just added it to my Bruna deck this week. It's under a buck to buy, and let's you take an extra turn for three mana but you can't untap. Since Bruna has vigilance the untap portion doesn't matter, so worst case scenario it's essentially three mana to draw a card and attack one extra time. I played four games with Bruna this week and got it out twice, and both times it won me the game.
