Deck Description

Basis of this deck is to flip coins to do stuff. Take turns, burn things and likely screw yourself over. I find that it's worth it killing yourself to Mana Clash.

EDIT: 6/13/19:
Name change: "Chancing Turns" -> "Izzet Gambit"

Did some maintainence.
Going to test this list when Modern Horizons drops

EDIT: 6/12/19:
Been playing a lot of commander lately. Some recent and upcoming cards got me interesred in this again. Most notably TRIBUTE MAGE!

Going to also mess around with some proliferate cards. Tezzy's gambit, karn's bastion and Contentious Plan. Maybe a Clockspinning.

Updating decklist when not on a mobile device.

EDIT: 9/22/18:
I'm so good at keeping on projects. Gonna mess around with this some more and scrap most of what's already there.

EDIT: 5/15/17:
Working on other projects and decks for a while

EDIT 3/20/17:

Title Change: "Taking Turns" -> Chancing Turns

A friend told me about the mono blue Taking Turns deck and so I decided to rename this to reflect the theme of coin flips.

Feels relatively low powered especially when going through cards quickly, doesn't help that I versed Jund and Bant Eldrazi.

EDIT 3/16/17:

TITLE CHANGE: Goblin Science --> "Taking Turns"

EDIT 3/15/17:

Guess I should rename the deck due to lack of goblins.

I'm liking the Renowned Weaponsmith. It has good stats for it's cost and where some of it's effects are wasted it basically makes casting Thumbs "free." If nothing else just block with it.

Bedlam Reveler feels pretty nice to have when it shows up as I can usually cast it for 2-4 mana and helps restock your hand.

Fiery Gambit I want to keep as a spicy one-of. It's too heavy on RNGsus, praise be unto him, to be completely effective but still solid at 1 and 2 flips.

Never really got to use Karplusan Minotaur so I'm going to keep him in for a while to see how I like it. Might switch back to Volatile Rig.

EDIT 3/14/17: A lot less Gobliny. This deck has gone a long way since its initial form. On the down side it's a bit less fun but much more consistent.

Things to look into:

Proliferate - Not a lot of good cards for this, seeing how they work to stack up Ral Zarek faster.

EDIT 3/14/17 LATER:
Finding that the deck either takes off around turn 3 and 4 or fizzles and does nothing all game, looking for things.

EDIT 6/21/15: R.I.P. Bangchuckers and Test Pilots

EDIT 6/5/15: Oh Krark, I've butchered it.

EDIT 4/24/15: I don't like the mana cost of the Bangchuckers for what they provide so I may put in something like Goblin Flectomancer for utility and to keep the spirit of the deck alive.
