Deck Description

This deck was built to inspire those who have a hard time dealing with R/G/B Monsters, Jund, or Esper Control and want to play something fast enough to even outpace the coveted "Desecration Demon". Black devotion usually needs to get to turn 4 to really be a problem. R/G/B or G/R Monsters usually take til at least turn 4 or 5 to be a nuisance. American or Esper Control just doesn't have much of a creature base and by turn 4 if you don't gain the upper hand. You just can't beat it. D-spheres are always there to wipe your board clean making Aetherling just too good to have answers for so I knew Aggro was the best thing to build. This deck has CONSISTENCY! Usually by turn 4 I have the upper hand and just have answers stacked in my favor either in my hand or the scry lands get it right up to the top of the deck. That brings up two other very important things about this deck. First off, the only card you must be able to work around and keep in mind are the mill cards, or Thoughtseize. You should always keep a hand with at least one mana of each type or at least one of the scry/shock lands as well as two creatures. But don't just keep that, you must also have some gas to keep the momentum going. If you keep a bad hand, you could potentially stall out giving those control decks and devotion black decks enough time to become too strong in the late game for you to keep up. Finally, the mana curve in this deck should be strong enough so that you will RARELY ever have to mulligan. It's pretty mulligan resistant. My best advice if you build and play this deck is, Never ever sneer at a hand with mostly lands and a couple enchantments. You will most certainly draw into some gas fast. Furthermore, its the most simplistic hand to snap keep against a player who you previously have known to play turn one "Thoughtseize". This deck is by far the most fun I have ever got to play in my 13 years playing MTG.

How to Play

Look at the previous description. if all else fails, RTFC and learn to play in due time and you will gain the experience with the deck. There are many different modifications to this deck in rotation in standard, but very few play it in sanctioned events so surprise skull crack the opponents and have fun! Feel free to experiment with it and give me some insight on how you feel it plays!

One modification I recently made that is a SOLID answer to Blood Baron which is the only card it did not originally have an answer to is I cycled out the Glare of Heresy and put Celestial Flare x 2. That is the only modification I made to it. Thanks for the looks man. I am glad you like it!

Made some suggestions..I think his land base needs to be more supportive to get that combo out faster. Secondly I told him the best thing to do is get more solid creature support so they can swing through.
