Moving sucks, i will not sugar coat that. but now that we are mostly moved in i should be able to be around more often. allison wants me to post her cat decks on here, so i think i will do that soon.
i like it too, and sort of agree with sure. beetles for aggro, seers for control (kinda). maybe you could find a happy middle and use a little of both? is the title a reference to a song? also, i am back bitches! :)

i like it. i feel like the idea of this deck will get a bit of a boost from the simic's 'evolve' ability in gatecrash. the one thing i do not think is all that good is the vulturous zombie. i just feel like you could do better with something else, like a set of dreg manglers. they would serve as early game pressure (3/3 haste for 3 mana is not too shabby) and can later be used for tons of +1/+1 counters. just my two cents. :)
our house rules also allow genju of the realm. basically our house rules say that anything that can become a legendary creature and/or is a legendary creature is legal as a general. the guy in our shop who uses genju actually has a relatively similar build to the one you have here.

well that sucks. :| maybe you could swap out dourbark and maybe even timber protector and/or dungrove elder for those alternatives. it would essentially be a trade between speed and power, though with doran i would argue you would get both to an extent. it is a hard decision so i wish you good luck, and happy stomping. :)
i am not sure of the price of leafcrown elder, but i think you should look at adding it in. i am also unsure how much doran costs, but he makes treefolk a decent tribe into a powerful tribe, and if you use leafcrown elder, you will not even need to splash really, especially with how useful harbinger is. i also think you should lose verdeloth. it just is not good in my opinion.

this reminds me a little bit of my druid/elf deck. gilt-leaf is indeed a soul-sucking card, and has resulted in many near table-flip moments. i see what you mean about seton in here, and i know he can be amazing in the right kind of deck. so far for me though, i have not made a deck for him. maybe i should try an edh for him. :)
