Mono Black Aggro is a very good deck, just not how you built it. Get whip of erebos main board as a 3 of, Mogis's marauder as a 4 of main board, 4 Spiteful Returned Main, less removal, Master of the feast instead of pitiless horde. here's my list for mono black aggro, i have been playing this deck for a little while now and its pretty good. http://www.mtgvault.com/dracostorm/decks/mono-black-aggro-13/

it is just a bad card 5 mana 2/8 turn 6 8/8 which will die since its mid game vs. turn 2 4/4 is better cause it puts early game presure.
don't play rotting mastodon it's just bad. play disowned ancestors to get a possible turn 2 4/4.
do think this would do good in standard FNM?
where is nyx-fleece ram! infinite combo all the way!

play monastery swiftspear main instead of elder, 4 phoenix, 2 banishing light- 2 suspension field. go 22 lands then add 2 eidolon main.

council of the absolue and or grand arbor augustin. from dragon' s maze and modern masters. not sure if modern masters is modern legal?

nice throw in 4 of the 2 mana mill 8 duel rare card from dragons maze.
two Desecration Demon and all ultimate price put in 4 brain maggots and 2 heros downfall. plus what with the non standard sideboard?
